Blue Mango Villa sits in 1/3rd of an acre with mature gardens, set back from the roadside in the area called Vellar.

Samudra beach is the nearest tourist area (approx 7 minutes walk by road) with a variety of hotels (Taj Green Cove, Uday Samudra and Samudra), shops and restaurants. There are also internet/telephone shops, money exchange and tour agents.

The main resort of Kovalam can be reached by either walking along the coastal path (35 mins) or by rickshaw/taxi (5 mins) which are readily available. There are many shops and restaurants along the beach and sunbeds/umberellas for hire. At Kovalam junction you will find the post office, supermarket, banks and pharmacies.

There are many Ayurvedic establishments in the area which can be booked for treatments. Information on the local area and on trips etc. can be supplied on request.

Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala, is 20mins by rickshaw/taxi.
